Documentary by a retired assistant chief
Good evening, everyone. Just a reminder that our January meeting will be this Thursday night at 18:30.
Part of the meeting will be watching a Documentary by retired assistant chief Chris Bowman of the Greensboro Fire Department. The video is 21 minutes long and documents the largest downtown fire in the City of Greensboro’s history. You’ll see photos, hear the actual communications throughout the incident, and interviews from those of us who arrived first on the scene. Got Your Six member Danny Shumate was the incident commander. The title is “30 Minutes to Zero. We’ll also discuss an aggressive outreach campaign to contact the Municipal and County Fire units, as well as all of our Law Enforcement agencies.
