2-year anniversary
Good evening, everyone. Hope everyone had a great weekend. Thursday is a big day for us as we celebrate our 2-year anniversary. A lot has happened these past two years. Growth has been huge. Starting with 12 committee members in August of 24 and began with over 60 folks attending our first meeting in October 2024. Here we are now with an Ad Hoc group known as Triad Rally Point and a total of 212 members. What each of you and the Good Lord has accomplished is truly amazing.
.
Thursday night we begin at 1800 hours with a cookout at the Life House. At 1845 we’ll move over to the main building where Kevin will get us started as always. This will be an eye-opener for many because the whole church has been invited to the concert performed by “Sons of Thunder”. After the opening, Kevin will introduce retired Lt. General Jim (Vech) Vechery. Also known as “AIR POWER”. Vech will deliver a recap of the accomplishments of GY6 along with Triad Rally Point. This will be followed by the concert. I will thank everyone for coming and end the evening in prayer.
.
We really encourage everyone to come Thursday if at all possible. It should be a great evening.
We are just a few weeks away from Veterans Day. On Friday, November 6th, High Point University will once again honor our Veterans. There will be breakfast along with patriotic music and a message from another retired Air Force General. Don’t think he can beat our retired Air Force General but I’m sure he’ll do a great job! Thanks to Kevin Moore for sending us the sign-up information. Please see the link below for reservations.
