Good evening, everyone. This is just a friendly reminder. We’re just a little over a week away from celebrating Got Your Six Ministry’s two-year anniversary. On Thursday, October 15 at 6 pm, we’ll celebrate with a Hot Dog supper prepared by David Brendle. This is a great time to invite a fellow veteran or first responder. At 6:45, we’ll move into the Sanctuary/Gym and begin as we normally do, followed by Lt. General Jim Vechery delivering a recap of our 2-year accomplishments. This will be followed by a concert by “Sons of Thunder” men’s choral group from High Point. The entire church is being invited to attend the concert but not the cookout. We would love for all of you to attend this exciting evening.

Also, a quick reminder of the FOOD DRIVE this coming Friday, October 9, 2026, from 0900 to 1300. We are assisting the State Highway Patrol with their annual “Faith and Blue service project.

Got Your Six would love to have any of you who would enjoy assisting with this project. I need three others besides myself to put up the Got Your Six Tent at 0815. I’ll have everything ready. If you can assist for 1 hour or all 4, it would be great. Sgt Mitchell from SHP also advised they were bringing the golf cart along with the goggles and letting you feel what it would be like driving while impaired. If you have teenagers who might be on fall break, it might be a great time for them to see what it’s like, which may deter them from drinking and driving. Finally, please bring two or three cans of food for the food bank.
