Mobile Vietnam Wall Memorial

Good evening, everyone. The Mobile Vietnam Wall Memorial is at the Kernersville VFW (618 Edgewood St) this weekend. There is also a 9/11 Memorial. One of the FDNY firefighters, LT Joe Torillo, is there. He brought a 60-by-30-foot flag to GTMO when I was there (Terry Eddinger) in 2013, and we opened it at Camp Justice. It has traveled the world. Anyway, they are opening a 60-by-30-foot flag at the VFW tomorrow at 1 p.m., and they would like veterans to be present to help hold it. Terry is going to get Lt Torrillo to tell his story. He was buried TWICE on 9/11 and survived. This will be a worthwhile event. I think you’d be interested in seeing and hearing it all. They were surprised to meet me today and insisted that I be present for the opening. I wanted you to have a chance to participate, as it will be meaningful. Thank you, – Terry Eddinger-
This email was forwarded by Norman Cooling to Aaron, who sent it to me. I was also contacted by Linda Ellis about this event. She and Tom plan on being there. I would also like to thank all who attended last night as Shaun shared his experiences in the Coast Guard as a rescue swimmer (AST). He did an outstanding job tying his service in the USCG with his service for Christ. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the August meeting on Thursday, August 20. Enjoy your summer. Also, we had 5 more folks join Got Your Six last night, bringing our total membership to 194! Praise the Lord for what HE is doing in this ministry.
